This Victorian 18ct gold and enamel ring is a piece of striking restraint and drama. Its band, enveloped in black enamel, forms a stark, midnight backdrop against which a single cushion-shaped diamond burns with quiet brilliance, like a lone star. The stone, set within a lozenge-shaped gold frame, glimmers like a secret flame in the dark; a reminder of light surviving within shadow.


The aesthetic is pure Victorian symbolism: black enamel often evoking memory, while the diamond, enduring and incorruptible, speaks of eternal love or constancy.
