SHIPPING

 

We're pleased to offer free domestic shipping.

We provide complimentary special delivery for all UK orders. All items will be carefully wrapped,  packaged and insured for safe delivery. We will provide you with a tracking number for your purchase.

For deliveries within the UK, we use Royal Mail Guaranteed 1pm Special Delivery, ensuring arrival by the following working day, (from the day of dispatch).

International orders can be sent by the two following options at the checkout:

 

Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed with an estimated delivery time of 3 - 5 business days within Europe and 5 - 10 business days worldwide.  

DHL Express International with an estimated delivery time of 2 - 3 business days.

International orders over £1000 are free with complimentary DHL Express International.

International orders between £500 - £1000 are free with Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed. (shipping can be upgraded to DHL)

Your jewellery will be fully insured during transit for your peace of mind, and a signature will be required upon receipt.

DELIVERY TIME

 

Our goal is to ship your order within two working days of receiving payment, or on the same day if feasible. However, please allow up to five working days for dispatch.

Please note, if paying by Credit Card for items over £2,000, the purchase will not be shipped until funds have cleared. This can take 3-5 days. Items over £2,000 may also occasionally require proof of address.

Ring sizing adds approximately 4 - 5 working days to the delivery estimate.

Please note that these are estimates only, and delivery times may vary slightly. If you require an item by a certain date, please include this information when you complete your purchase, and we will do our best to meet your request; though we cannot guarantee delivery by any date. 

 

CUSTOMS, TAXES & DUTIES

 

The buyer is responsible for any duties payable in the country of receipt. Please ensure you research these potential costs before making a purchase. 

We do not have jurisdiction over local country customs departments. In many countries, duties are not applicable when purchasing antiques over 100 years old. If your item falls into this category, we will label your package as 'antiques' to ensure this exemption. However, you may still be responsible for local taxes on imported goods. Additionally, many of our items have been made in more recent years and will not be exempt. Typically, your country's website or customs office will provide relevant tax information.

 We do not impose any tax or VAT on all orders.

UK RETURNS

 

We offer no hassle returns on all UK orders.

Please note that items over £1000 can be returned for store credit only.

 

To initiate a return please let us know within 7 days of delivery.

 

We have a 14-day return policy, whereby you have 14 days after receiving your item to return it. Buyers are fully responsible for shipping costs. You must return your item via a tracked and fully insured shipping method to ensure it gets back to us safely. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund for any items which are sent back to us by uninsured or non-recorded delivery, in case they become lost or damaged in transit. 

Refunds will be initiated within 3 days upon receiving and inspecting the item(s). Confirmation of receipt and completion of the refund will be sent via email.

If you suspect damage to your item during transit, kindly contact info@cornercupboardshop.com within 24 hours, providing a photograph and description of the damage, as all deliveries are fully insured.

Damaged or altered pieces cannot be returned. Please remember that antique jewelry requires careful handling. 

Returns are not accepted for rings that have been resized.

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we'll notify you regarding the approval status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

These will be handled on an individual basis as international returns may incur customs duty.

We are unable to deliver items to PO Boxes.
