We're pleased to offer free domestic shipping.

We provide complimentary special delivery for all UK orders. All items will be carefully wrapped, packaged and insured for safe delivery. We will provide you with a tracking number for your purchase.
​
For deliveries within the UK, we use Royal Mail Guaranteed 1pm Special Delivery, ensuring arrival by the following working day, (from the day of dispatch).
​
International orders can be sent by the two following options at the checkout:
Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed with an estimated delivery time of 3 - 5 business days within Europe and 5 - 10 business days worldwide. ​
​
DHL Express International with an estimated delivery time of 2 - 3 business days.
​
International orders over £1000 are free with complimentary DHL Express International.
​
International orders between £500 - £1000 are free with Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed. (shipping can be upgraded to DHL)
​
Your jewellery will be fully insured during transit for your peace of mind, and a signature will be required upon receipt.
​
DELIVERY TIME
Our goal is to ship your order within two working days of receiving payment, or on the same day if feasible. However, please allow up to five working days for dispatch.
​
Please note, if paying by Credit Card for items over £2,000, the purchase will not be shipped until funds have cleared. This can take 3-5 days. Items over £2,000 may also occasionally require proof of address.
​
Ring sizing adds approximately 4 - 5 working days to the delivery estimate.
​
Please note that these are estimates only, and delivery times may vary slightly. If you require an item by a certain date, please include this information when you complete your purchase, and we will do our best to meet your request; though we cannot guarantee delivery by any date.

CUSTOMS, TAXES & DUTIES
The buyer is responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees payable in the country of receipt. Please ensure you research these potential costs before making a purchase.

While we do everything possible to ensure customs authorities are provided with the correct information for duty exemptions on antiques over 100 years old, including clearly labelling applicable parcels as “antiques”, the final assessment and decision rests solely with the local customs authority. We therefore cannot be held responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees charged, even where an item qualifies as an antique.

Please note that in many countries, antiques over 100 years old may be exempt from certain duties; however, local taxes on imported goods may still apply. Additionally, many of our items are of more recent manufacture and will not qualify for antique exemptions. Your local customs office or government website will be able to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information.

We do not impose any tax or VAT on our orders.
UK RETURNS
We offer no-hassle returns on all UK orders.
​
To initiate a return, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
​
We operate a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days from the date of receiving your item to return it to us.
​
Please note that a transaction fee of 3.5% of the purchase price will be deducted from any refund issued, along with return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
​
Once a return has been initiated, we will arrange the return shipping on your behalf. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. All returns are sent via a tracked and fully insured delivery service to ensure the item reaches us safely. Items lost or damaged in transit while using the arranged return service will be covered by insurance.
​
Refunds will be initiated within 5 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item(s). Confirmation of receipt and completion of the refund will be sent via email.
​
If you suspect your item has been damaged during transit, please contact info@cornercupboardshop.com within 24 hours of delivery, providing clear photographs and a description of the damage, as all deliveries are fully insured.
​
Damaged or altered pieces cannot be returned. Please remember that antique jewellery requires careful handling.
​
Returns are not accepted for rings that have been resized.
​
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
​
International buyers are responsible for all customs duties and import fees. If an order is returned due to customs refusal or unpaid charges, a refund can only be issued once the item is returned in original condition. Shipping costs, customs fees, and return charges are non-refundable.
​
Please note that transaction fees and original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund issued.
​
International return requests will be handled on an individual basis as international returns may incur customs duty.
