A truly striking Edwardian sapphire and diamond sword stickpin, crafted in gold and dating to the early twentieth century. Set with a vivid marquise-cut sapphire and accented by rose-cut diamonds, the hilt glimmers delicately against the slender pin ‘blade,’ balancing symbolism with restraint in the beautiful manner of its age.


The sword has long carried rich meaning in jewellery. Traditionally associated with honour, courage, loyalty, and protection, it also appears as an emblem of steadfast devotion, suggesting a heart willing to endure hardship and remain ever-true; a piece for those willing to fight for love. The sapphire, linked with truth, sincerity and wisdom, brings a flash of royal blue to the design, while the old-cut diamonds lend a subtle antique shimmer, like light caught on polished steel.
