This exquisite late Victorian five-stone 15ct gold opal ring, hallmarked 1897, is an ethereal example of timeless beauty. Rendered in rich 15ct yellow gold, the band gracefully cradles five luminous opals, each set flush into the band in ornately sculpted claw settings.

 

The opals shimmer with hues of blue, green, and soft pink - their play-of-color evoking the mystical beauty of moonlight over water. An heirloom with a quiet, enchanting glow, this antique ring is imbued with history, charm and mystery. The interior of the band bears a personal inscription – the marks of history – two sets of initials and a date. 

 

1897 marks the year Bram Stoker's infamous Gothic novel Dracula was published.
