Encircling the regal garnet stone is a halo of rose-cut diamonds set in silver, their irregular facets shimmering with a gentle, candlelit brilliance so desired in the Georgian age. 


A delicately rendered openwork fleur-de-lis sits to each shoulder - a stylised lily or iris strongly associated with French royalty, and often used in heraldry and decoration, leading down into a beautifully hand-carved gold shank, where warm, buttery gold is sculpted with intricate, almost architectural detailing.
