Edwardian Diamond Turquoise & Pearl Necklace
A breathtaking Edwardian turquoise and pearl graduated bead necklace, featuring a stellar floral-inspired platinum clasp at its heart with a central cabochon turquoise stone and 1.5 carats of dazzling old-cut diamond petals to surround.
The thirty-seven turquoise beads are elegantly graduated, a testament to the grace and beauty of a bygone era, set off by delicate pearl spacers. The colours of the turquoise beads have been carefully chosen to blend seamlessly into one another and range from deep sea green, to dreamy aquamarine, reminiscent of cerulean waters.
This rare heirloom necklace sings with the craftsmanship of the era from which it originates and sits beautifully on the neck; sure to catch eyes and create conversation.
Turquoise has long been associated with protection, healing and good fortune. Its beautiful colour – blue as the summer sky or robin’s egg – has inspired many myths, legends and cultures. There is even a belief that if you search through the soil at the end of a rainbow after a storm, a turquoise stone may be found.
“I see you everywhere, in the stars, in the river, to me you're everything that exists; the reality of everything.”
~ Virginia Woolf, Night and Day
