A brilliant vintage 18ct gold, diamond and yellow sapphire three stone ring, claw set with two dazzling cushion shaped diamonds and a sparkling golden sapphire stone to the centre.

 

This effervescent ring carries all the brightness and joy of a summer’s day. Classic elegance topped by eye-catching stones for a wearable piece of sunshine.

 

Historically, the three stone ring has been known to represent the past, present and future, and is thought to have originated in ancient Egypt, where they were likened to the three phases of the sun, (rising, midday, and setting), and to the three stages of life, (birth, life and death).


The centre stone is thought to hold the present, reminding the wearer to ‘live in the moment’ and stay present through life’s experiences. The stone for the past is thought to hold the memories and experiences of the wearer. The future stone brings with it hopes and dreams for times yet to come.
