This rare antique Georgian witch’s heart pendant, dating to the early 19th century, is a beautifully intimate expression of love and attachment. Crafted in warm 15ct yellow gold, the pendant is formed as a stylised openwork heart, set with set and round cut garnets of various ruby red and berry pink tones, creating a delightful display of colour, symbolic of love and devotion. 

 

Suspended at the neck, the pointed end of the heart naturally curves towards the wearer’s own heart, a deliberate and meaningful detail that acts as a private reminder of connection, intended for the wearer alone; a symbol of a heart bewtiched by love. The fiery glow of garnets is long associated with devotion, constancy, and the life of the heart itself.
