This Victorian heart-shaped pendant is a tender expression of 19th-century sentiment and craftsmanship. Fashioned in warm 15ct gold, the softly contoured heart is intricately set with a field of luminous seed pearls for a delicate, glowing surface. Interspersed among the pearls are three vibrant turquoise forget-me-not motifs, their distinctive blue petals forming a romantic floral pattern across the heart. At the centre, a single old cut diamond adds a delicate point of light – a sparkle that draws the eye inward.
 
This piece was likely worn or gifted as a token of love and remembrance; a way of saying ‘forget me not.' The pendant hangs gracefully from an antique gold fine link chain secured with a traditional tube clasp. Retained in its original fitted box by Collingwood & Co. to The Royal Family, 46 Conduit Street, London, this stunning presentation case adds delightful provenance and period authenticity.  Founded in 1817, Collingwood was appointed 'Jewellers to the Queen' in 1837, later becoming 'Jewellers to the Prince & Princess of Wales & all the Royal Family.' A prestigous firm with elite clientle, they were also the family jewellers of the Spencers, and the favourite jeweller of Diana, Princess of Wales, (the Princess of Hearts). They are perhaps best known for the 'Collingwood Pearl Earrings,' made for and worn by Princess Diana on her wedding day as a present in 1981, and later inherited by Catherine, Princess of Wales.
