A beautiful vintage spinel single stone ring, set in warm 9ct yellow gold. At its centre sits a wonderfully unusual cushion cut spinel solitaire, displaying rich violet-blue tones with subtle flashes of indigo and inky blue-purple as it catches the light. The softly squared cut gives the stone plenty of character, while the simple claw setting allows its distinctive colour to take centre stage.


We particularly love the moody colour of this spinel. Somewhere between twilight blue and deep violet, it has a wonderfully romantic quality that feels quite unlike anything else.

 

Elegant, unusual and beautifully understated, this is a lovely vintage ring with a colour all of its own.
