The epitome of grace, this antique Edwardian 18ct yellow gold amethyst and seed pearl ring sparkles as a triumph of this time. The central oval-cut amethyst is a striking, sumptuous purple with a hint of magenta, and is flanked by two dainty pearls to compliment. The tapered shoulders of this ring allow the stones in the head of the setting to glitter in full glory.

 

Amethyst is most closely associated with the month of February as it’s birthstone, and is also known as the stone of St. Valentine, and hence symbolic of love. It has historically also been worn to safeguard it’s wearer from bad luck, and ward off negativity.
