This antique piece feels heavy with history from another time; a mystical 19th century 9ct gold bloodstone intaglio ring, perfect for the dark academic with a striking intaglio of a rich, deep green, spattered with red as is traditional of ‘bloodstone.’

 

The profile of a distinguished scholar is pressed into the stone, and when lit from behind, seems to glow from within. The band is elegantly carved with three distinct divots to set off the central intaglio. A Victorian treasure with a story to tell...
